According to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, the Lions will practice with the Texans prior to their Week 2 preseason game on August 17. This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, considering both Matt Patricia and Texans coach Bill O’Brien worked together in New England from 2007 to 2011, albeit on opposite sides of the ball. Last year, the Lions held joint practices against both the Oakland Raiders (away) and the New York Giants (home).
